Maybe you remember Altura's previous mountain bike clothing line-they have made them and shifted their focus to road and commuter gear for a while, but if you own some, you most likely still use it. It is durable. Those who don't remember the early series may learn about Altura better through their functional products that are loved by city commuters and cyclists. The products they produce are suitable for those who do their best to dress them, and the price point attracts the kind of brave travelers who book youth hostels rather than hotels. Suitcases, suitcases, waterproof parts and reflective parts. What you need, when you need it, it will serve you. They have been doing this for 25 years, so obviously they know one or two things are correct.

For those who are still using the old Altura MTB kit, or are regretting the absence of a local bike shop, you will be happy to hear that Altura keeps up with the times. This year, they launched a new Trail Adventure series, aimed at mountain bikers. They want things that are practical without screaming and want to be racers, and the price will not make them scream like they just hit the blind. This is not to say that these are all designed for MTB-lite-all products are designed to fit today's modern slim knee and elbow pads. The mountain bike series has a brand-new design team. They have introduced a series of fashionable and practical new clothes-so when you pick up your children from school, you won't let them cut off from you. After you ride, or your Friends slip away from your endurance pajamas in the bar.

Altura did not abandon its roots, but sought to establish its reputation for reliability and value by adhering to six core design pillars. For each item, the degree of air permeability, ergonomics, windproof, warmth, reflection and water resistance of the item will be determined. As suggested by Altura’s real-world testers collectively, these design features will be tailored to specific needs. This means that you can get products based on real life experience in the UK. What equipment do they hope to have in the rainy cold weather? After raining and sunny days, rainbows appear frequently in the sun, and there is a layer of sweat on your forehead, how about? Or on those cold and refreshing mornings, leaves with almost no frost lying crisply on the thick mud, luring you into their cold sludge and splashing on your calves?

Our roads are not the dusty trails of California. Riders will understand the benefits of the British weather and testing to the choice of fabrics and colors. The fabric can be properly ventilated to prevent the wind from entering, instead of letting the cold mesh panel. The earth and natural tones selected from the tray reflect the landscape, rather than conflict with it or be soiled by it.

In addition to working with our British landscape and climate, Altura also strives to ensure that its products do not unduly affect the global environment. Corn starch packaging, vegetable dyes, recyclable labels with cords instead of plastic, and clay balls instead of silica gel mean that the large number of items used on every item sold is as sustainable as possible. Regardless of the product, these basic measures are in place. Then there are measures that affect some products, such as waterproofing-by 2025, they will be PFC-free. And they provide a 2-year warranty on all items they invest in manufacturing durable products.

To make durable products, you need to start with some solid foundation. Every factory used by Altura works in accordance with a "style guide", which prescribes every detail down to the stitch length. This means that each factory is manufactured to the same standard, which is determined by Altura's testing process to meet their needs. To maintain this consistency, Altura regularly visits all of its factories and conducts independent quality control inspections before shipment. If there is a problem, they will find it early and solve it at the source, not after hundreds of garments have been shipped all over the world.

Every new project has to go through at least two prototypes to ensure a perfect fit before making test samples and sending them to testers such as Rich Rothwell. You may be familiar with him-he is passionate about long and arduous adventures, as most of us think, this is a disaster story full of trials and tribulations, only worth enduring many years of storytelling and memories. If he recommends cycling out on weekends, you will definitely think twice.

All these efforts resulted in what might be considered a capsule wardrobe. A series of items just enough to keep you through the winter, and Altura will continue to develop new products for spring and summer next year. Let's check it.

These splash shorts are available in a single unisex/men's version. They have tapered knees and are designed to work with knee pads-the space suits them, but they are not big and fluffy. The pattern has been tailored to prevent you from sitting on bulky seams, and the raised, clean back without loops and buckles means you will not interfere with the backpack or belt. The elasticity of the side panels provides further comfort, and you also get a zippered pocket for storing valuables.

Similar to shorts-but obviously longer-these women's leggings have an elastic panel at the ankle that fits snugly and won't stain your cranks. There are no fasteners or adjustments, only soft stretch side panels. Like shorts, they are compatible with knee pads.

These waterproof trousers are only available in unisex/men's tailoring, with soft shell fabric on the front and back. The hip pockets are designed with a zipper to store valuables, and the button placket secures them in place.

This 50/50 merino polyester/merino base has a unisex cut. Flat seams bring comfort and thumb loops, and a comfortable back design is the first layer in your capsule wardrobe. Wear it alone on warm days, or layer it to prevent chills.

The front and center back panels of this long-sleeved men's jersey are made of Polartech Powergrid fabric-a soft waffle fabric design that keeps warm and wicks moisture. The tapered and bonded cuffs ensure a perfect fit on the wrist, and if you wear it as an outer layer, the DWR coating prevents water splashing.

This soft shell vest is only tailored for women, with DWR coating and a brushed back lining, which is wind and water resistant. Wear it as an outer layer to keep your body cool on cool days, or fold it under the shell to ride comfortably on really cold days.

This hooded softshell jacket is made of the same material as the Escalade vest. It is available in both men's and women's cuts. It has tapered arms, a brushed fleece lining on the back and a breast pocket.

This is a waterproof 2.5-layer fabric jacket with helmet cover and breast pocket. This is a lightweight and storeable jacket that can be rolled up and can be neatly secured with elastic loops sewn into the inner pocket. Put it in your backpack when the weather improves, or ride on wet days. Front and rear vents help keep cool. Slim arms, bonded cuffs and a touch of elastic keep this loose-fitting jacket fluffy, while leaving enough room for a modern set of slim elbow pads.

This jacket is made of Pertex Shield fabric. Compared with Esker, it is less portable, but more waterproof. The helmet fits your hood, and the gills on the back provide ventilation. Two zippered front pockets expose a mesh pocket to prevent snacks or mobile phones from moving in the pocket. The front pocket is under the flap directly above the zipper for further ventilation. The waterproof soft shell panel on the back provides additional breathability.

These gloves are warm and waterproof, have padded palms, and feel comfortable in the hand. The silicone grip allows you to keep in contact with the brakes and handles even on the wettest days. These gloves have a waterproof/breathable rating of 8k/8k.

With clothing choices that suit all conditions, there is no reason to stay indoors. Whether you like to take a boat tour of the scenery, or want to pedal hard until you reach the top of the mountain sandwich, there is a layering option for you. Check the Altura Adventure Range online or at your local bike shop, choose the layer that suits your riding style, and then go out and play.
