Once the temperature starts to drop, there is no denying the appeal of soft and comfortable fleece sweaters. This season, Sherpa jackets and fleece jackets dominate the street style-we are very happy. 

Not only is it a practical choice to withstand the cold weather in Canada, but it is also a simple layered product that can be used in almost any wardrobe. The Yahoo Lifestyle team paid special attention to a fleece jacket: the lady's Cragmont fleece jacket from The North Face.

The retail price of this button fleece sweater is CAD 200/US$149. It is both a sweater and a jacket. It is 100% suitable for fall. It comes in five shades this season and is made entirely of recycled polyester, which is both beautiful and beneficial to the earth. 

In the past few weeks, we decided to test this versatile jacket. Here are the results. 

I’ve been a bit crazy about cardigans lately because I’m still working from home full-time and haven’t really switched to any of my more elegant jackets this season. After adding The North Face's Cragmont Fleece Jacket to my collection, I don't think my obsession will end anytime soon. 

I wear this jacket for walks nearby, run errands on weekends, and even serve as an extra layer when visiting family and friends. Wool is very light, but it still keeps you warm-just don't make the mistake of wearing it in the rain without an umbrella or waterproof layer (you will get wet). 

I like that this jacket has several zippered pockets. The size of these pockets is perfect for storing my phone, keys, mini hand sanitizer tube and face mask. The combination of forest green and blue-green is also an interesting and unexpected choice in autumn. What prevents me from giving this wool a perfect rating? It only uses a snap closure instead of a full zipper, which makes it easy to wear. 

The thing is like this-when I said that I had worn this wool at least three times a week after I received it, I didn't exaggerate (minus the few days in Toronto, the temperature was still over 20 degrees). 

To put it bluntly: I am fascinated. Although I was born and raised in Alberta, I have never owned wool. Why? can not tell you. The Cragmont fleece jacket from The North Face is very comfortable, and I almost want to buy another one for my future self, so that I will never live without it.

It is light weight, super comfortable, and so far keeps me warm enough when I walk at night. I like to add a chest pocket to store my keys and cards, and a high collar to prevent the cold. Although I am usually a bright jacket Stan, I chose bleached sand-Hawthorne Khaki for versatility and it did not disappoint me. My only problem (if you can call it that) is that, like Kate, in addition to snap closure, I also like zippers. Having said that, it still makes me a fleece lover and will definitely become a must-have in my cold weather wardrobe. 

For everyone who thinks this is TLDR, let me save you time: this wool is great. 

I usually don't like wool, but I keep wearing this jacket. It is soft and comfortable, with a retro feel, suitable for pairing with jeans or leggings. Due to my long-term cold, I wore this woolen sweater during my honeymoon recently and it was very warm on the plane. I always wear it to walk my puppy. When I am a bit cold inside, it is very comfortable and I never want to take it off. 

One thing I want to remind people to pay attention to is the size. I ordered a medium size, it just fits well. However, in hindsight, I would order a large one to increase the length, especially if you plan to wear a jacket with tights. I can layer it with an oversized sweatshirt, which proves that even though I think it is a bit short, there is enough space to add layers!

I have been a fan of wool for years (yelling to my mom and dad for my first neon floral pullover!), but I have been trying to find one for me. They are either too boxy, too trim, too short or too long, too bright or too neutral. 

Trust me when I say: This is the perfect wool. It is light and comfortable. The interesting color combination and retro après ski atmosphere give it an advantage over other fleece jackets I have tried. What I particularly like about this North Face fleece jacket is that its style does not sacrifice functionality-the full-length buttons, stand-up collar and pockets have been carefully designed to make it a great choice for almost any fall condition. This jacket is fully buttoned on cold hikes, pajamas when walking the dog, and raincoats on cold days-I know that as the temperature continues to drop, I will continue to wear it. 

In terms of size, some critics suggested reducing the size, but I stuck to my usual small size and I am glad I did it. It is relaxing rather than boxy, allowing me to wear a sweatshirt in it on cold days. However, if you prefer a better fit, you may need a size smaller. It's not cheap for $200, but I believe I will switch to this cute and practical jacket in the next few years.
